Biography
"It will change your life" suggested Suryo Gardner, as they discussed Terry's possible attendance at Reiki Mastery retreat in Tulum, Mexico in late 2008. And change it did! After a long career in corporate IT consulting, Terry decided to switch from her consulting specialty in "Business Intelligence" to BodyTalk and "Body Intelligence". A true geek, she loves the cutting edge nature of BodyTalk where the practice is constantly evolving as new scientific discoveries are made. She appreciates the integrative approach to BodyTalk, and the system and protocol for performing the BodyTalk process. And, after spending years in corporate America, she is absolutely delighted to help her clients improve their health and overall well-being.
Terry discovered BodyTalk as part of her search for a complementary medical approach to improve her health during and after breast cancer surgeries in 2006. After being a BodyTalk client of Suryo's for 3 years, she decided to switch careers and become a BodyTalk practitioner. Immediately upon beginning the training and practice sessions, when her friends and clients became excited about this new practice, calling her "Amazing Terry!", she knew she had discovered something absolutely magical. She's convinced it's not the person doing the treatment that's amazing, it's the BodyTalk process, and the client's innate ability to heal. Terry treats every session like a game of "Clue".....wonder what mysteries will be unlocked today? "What will your body tell me it needs to promote optimum health?"
Terry started studying BodyTalk in January 2009 and became a CBP in March 2009. Terry is a member of the International BodyTalk Association and the Washington State BodyTalk Association.
Terry's passions are leading-edge technology (like BodyTalk!), constant learning, leadership, travel, family (Go Cougs!) and friends. Her favorite non-profits are Washington Women in Need and Cancer Lifeline.
