Biography

Sharing BodyTalk with clients in Seattle and  on Vashon Island

Kaisha Thomas was one of the first BodyTalk practitioners certified by the IBA in Washington State, becoming a certified practitioner in June of 2000.  Actively working with and studying the BodyTalk System since then, she was fortunate to be able to study directly with John Veltheim as he was developing the advanced modules of the BodyTalk system and was able to take all the advanced modules a number of times under his instruction.

Over the years, Kaisha’s passion for bearing witness to the changes that people are able to experience with the assistance of BodyTalk has only continued to grow.  In support of her love and commitment to deepen her awareness and appreciation of the human system and to continue to expand the focus and depth of her BodyTalk work, Kaisha attended massage school shortly after becoming a certified BodyTalk practitioner.  As a licensed massage therapist, she continues to utilize the benefits of her licensure to regularly take classes in complimentary modalities.  She is now also a certified Cranio-Sacral Therapist and is pursuing classes in lymphatic drainage, palpation, and, of course, BodyTalk.

Kaisha practices both in West Seattle and on Vashon Island where she has lived for the past twenty-four years, sharing her home and acreage with her family, a rescue Pit Bull and a very large clan of blacktail deer.
